Weekend Play

Another part of the celebration in our town is the opening of this wonderful playground. My little boy has been one of the kids looking forward to play there. It was summer time when they started to uproot the trees and remove the swing, see saw, slides etc. It made Josh say "sipain ko yan sila lahat!" (I'll give them all a kick) as mentioned in an older post.

Here is Josh with his kuya Ez- J when the playground was still on the process of construction.

This week we had 2 visits in the playground and to our dismay it was close. First it was full of children and I know that my little boy would not enjoy playing there. Second time it was again under repairs because of the damages it got from too many kids playing there during the week long anniversary celebration.

And so at last my boy had his chance this very day. He really had a great time and I was enjoying too while watching him run and go up the stairs. He was overwhelmed and so are the other kids playing with him. At first I was the only one doing the picture taking after they saw me all the other parents joined in. It was funny because they were all in the shade while their kids are enjoying. Some with their yayas (nannies) who seemed to be not in the mood to join in the fun.

Is it a public playground? It is a lot better than ours! Eto ang parang makikita sa Club John Hay (former American Air base).

I'm sure you had a great time! Masaya silang panoorin noh?

nakapunta nako dyan sa Club John Hay most of my elementary days nakatira kami sa Dagupan and usually pagsummer we go to Baguio and stay for a few days kasi may auntand uncles din kami dyan c:

Yup, public playground c: that's why it had damages after the Foundation Day kasi napuno talaga yung place kaya hindi ko narin pinapunta si Josh dun c:

it was one of our mayors project along with the finishing of the city hall.mukhang mall ang city hall namin atleast we know where our money goes c:

What a great playground. I would be happy to have half of that near us for playing. We have huge parks and little to no playground equipment for the kids. I bet your little one had a great day.

that's really a lovely place for kids! i want to use the slide too! hahaha! ;-) it looks a bit hot though, maybe it'd be nice to have more trees for shade. does it have benches for parents/yayas to sit on while waiting for their kids?

wow, the playground is nice

and josh looks like maton na girl... hehe. nakatali pa ang hair, ang kyut!

In Davao, we have people's park, it's very big and wide, it's playground for kids of all ages, hehe

there's a small nook for children, for seesaw and slides pero maliit compared sa whole area..

but, they are statues of children that kids enjoy so much

I think dahil malapit lang naman kayo sa Davao, you might have been there

oo nga napapagkamalan talga sya na girl lagi i just give the info everytime we meet new people or if someone talks to him.

have been to Davao pero di pa sa playground nila.it looks pretty much like a little Manila so as like Butuan ang itsura ng Davao to me c:

Busy and polluted, love Gensan and Polomolok more kaya lang mainit lang nga sa Gensan.

meron din dati mga statues ng bata, grown up plus do and carabao dito kya lang sinira na nila sad din nga :c

mas maganda pa playground namin dito kesa sa Gensan c:

nice playground! so clean. i hope it stays that way.

by the way, is it a public or private playground?

iceah said...

@choco and berry
Yes it is a public playground it will hopefully stay clean because our town has assigned cleaners and sweepers every morning c:

Hopefully in every city and town playgrounds and plazas are a part of their priority list also cleanliness and safety para maencourage naman mga tao to stay and pasyal there c:
