This is supposed to be my "Wordless Wednesday" entry but I could not help wondering out loud: "Spelling bees are supposed to be exciting, but why are these kids looking so bored? Scripps National Spelling Bee 2009 will be on Thursday night. And the winner will receive a whooping $40,000 in cash! Kids, why are you looking so glum? Is $40,000 too small? Lol!

cguro overwhelmed sila ice because of the prize money and are stressed on how they're going to spend it, should they win! hehehe! competitions are always tough!
hahaha.. i thought prayer rally sinalihan nila. jokes :)tired lang siguro to sila kaka study praparing for this spelling bee :)
I think the speaker is boring that;s why hehehe.. But heck, 40k will make me stay awake lol.. musta na mare?

this is the preliminaries, when they go through all 293 contestants and give each of them a word to spell. you would be bored too
