Human Dog Hybrid

An image that shows a supposed human dog hybrid has been circulating the web through email. It is an example what a good artist can do. But it's amazing how some people can believe things like this.

update:
I have just learned that this thing is the work of Australian artist Patricia Piccinini entitled "Young family," it's a scuplture. Weee at first glance at the image I though it was some sort of computer graphics, it turns out that it's a real photograph.

That truly makes me a bit sick.

That thing goes beyond creepy and weird. This is art? Guess it must be an Aussie thing....because I don't get it. Guess my American brain is in the wrong hemisphere.

Ha. Excellent pun. Brain in the wrong hemisphere... that's great...

It's funny how people think this is real. It's not possible. Humans and dogs don't have a compatible number of chromosomes. The only human-animal hybrid that is possible would be with a primate of some sort, such as a monkey, because they are the only other animal with the same number of chromosomes as a human.
