Dito lang sa Mindanao (Only here in Mindanao) continues...

This is continuation of an earlier post.



...aside from Abusayafs and MILFs (hehe...)

...is where the Tuna Capital Export is located (in General Santos, not in Davao).

...is where Dole Philippines is located (hectares and hectares of pineapple plantations).

...is where we find many Maya birds (formerly our national bird). I was taught when I was in grade school that the maya bird was gray and brown colored. I believe a lot of us are taught that way too. The gray bird is called "perok-perok"(city bird) here and the real Maya bird is colored copper brown from the neck down and black from the neck up, with blue-grey bill.



...is where you’ll find cheap but very fertile land. (because of the year round rain)

...in remote areas you can experience trading parin (example is trade your veggies with tilapia, etc.)

...can you find large jeepneys turned into truck like vehicles that even the roofs are filled with people ( I saw this in Lake Sebu and Butuan).


... can you find in the college registrar forms that aside from the nationality, the tribe is being asked. (If you're tagalog, visayan , ilocano, maguindanaon, etc.)
