NBC's TV movie Meteor seems to have borrowed a lot from the 1999 movie Deep Impact. It looks like Meteor NBC is a remake of Deep Impact. Just look at the plot: a meteor is on its way to crash into Earth and scientists are trying to prevent this from happening. Like Deep Impact the lead character is a woman, Maria Sokoloff. In Deep Impact it was Tea Lioni. Anyways, let's hope that this could still be a good watch.
