For Redheads Only?

Social networks is the name of the game in the internet nowadays. You will never feel that you belong to the internet if you are not a member of one or more social networks. I myself is a member of a number of social networks and I am always on the look out for more interesting social networks to join. I came upon a social netwotk that has a different twist, it is exclusively for redheads! Yes, only redheads are allowed in that network so I could not join because I am proudly wearing my black hair. But anyway, I still got interested in that network because it's intriguing to know what they'd have in the community. Are redheads really that pretty? Hmmmnnn... brunettes and blonds are pretty too, not only red heads. I snooped around in the site and I guess it is interesting enough. I was tempted to click on the "Join now!" button but of course I did not because I am not a red head and if I join I guese they would kick me out for being the very pretty jet-black haired asian that I am. But I guess the site is really good for those who'd fit in there (and I like the red and white color scheme). If they'd invite me to be a guest member, I think I'd accept LOL!

Thousands of Templates

The more blogs we get to have, the more we wish to have access to web templates. Templates are what make websites and blogs more attractive. Good templates are not that easy to find especially if you rely on the free ones. But if you have access to primium templates, it would be really nice because you will be able to express more on your website's design. My husband told me about a site that could be every web master's dream, DreamTemplate.com. I visited the site and I was surprised at what I saw there; here at this site you can have access to 4,000+ website templates. They have different kinds of templates that any blogger or webmaster can dream about, from flash templates to blog templates. What is good about this site is that you do not have to pay thousands of dollars to be able to have access to the templates, all you have to do is pay as low as $59.95 per year! Imagine, you can have access to thousands of templates website templates, flash, logos, vectors, brochure, office templates and more for one year for just that amount.

One of the Many Adventures We Love

I and my husband have many things in common, for one, we love different kinds of adventure. Before our baby came, we were almost everywhere, having adventure. One of the many things that we like doing is trekking, and mountian climbing. I miss doing this now and I think that in a year or two, when our son is old enough, we'll do it again, every once in a while. My Rock Climbing Shoes
are still in good condition and every time I see it I remember those adventures that we had. My husband got some Arcteryx gear and he keeps them in good condition. A cousin of his who lives in the USA sent those gear to him a few years ago, now he told me that the same cousin is sending him North Face items. Wow, this could be very nice.

Buying a New Car?

Are you planning to have a new car? Well, it would be good to check out the New Ford car. I came upon it via BuyYourCar.co.uk, a website that operates an all car portal, dealing in new cars, used cars and leasing offers. They have this cool "new car" section where you can complete a quote request and submit it. This is cool because you can have complete rein over your budget. Aside from that your request will result in having you the best deal because it will be circulated to the most competitive dealers for the brand you are looking for. With more dealers you can have the best deal.

Electric Cars

Today I stumbled upon a blog that talks about a brand of cars that run on electricity. Yes, electric cars. In this time of economic uncertainty and rising cost of fuel, electric cars come like a blessing. Electric cars are also eco-friendly because they do not emit smoke from burnt fuel. Electric cars are also quieter than their gasoline powered counterparts so they do not contribute to noise pollution. The blog I am talking about, BYD CO LTD ELECTRIC CARS, has information about BYD Electric Cars, which are made by China's biggest battery maker. In the blog I learned about BYD E6 electric can, a very sleek looking car that looks like normal cars. But of course it is quite different from the common car; it is a five seater car and can run at speeds like 160 kph. Its battery is lithium-ion iron phosphate based. The range of this car per charge is 300 kilometers. But what makes it great is the fact that its battery a life of 2,000 cycles and could make it to 600,000 kilometers of travel. 600,000 kilometers is very impressive, imagine the car could travel 600,000 kilometers before the baterry would be rendered useless! That's great!

If you want to learn more about the BYD Electric Cars, you can check out the blog now.

Great Holiday Glass Frames From Zenni Optical

I guess the best gift I can give my sister-in-law for the new year is a new pair of frames from Zenni Optical. She has been wearing eyeglasses since she was in fifth grade. The popular online eyeglasses shop has a wide variety of fashionable frames to choose from. Satisfaction is guaranteed with the Holiday Glass Frames from Zenni Optical because aside from the fact that Zenni sells low-priced but quality prescription glasses (I can actually get from Zenni $ 8 complete Rx eyeglasses). I know that my sister-in-law, who sees eyeglasses as one of the best ways to express her fashion sense, would be happy when she receives my gift to her from Zenni. I couldn't wait to see her wearing one of Zenni's elegant but affordable prescription eyeglasses.

Track Them Down

I really do not like it when I recieve a call from someone I really do not know who makes offers that sound like I would benefit from it. I hate calls like this because I could not avoid being disturbed, and worried. It annoys me. When unidentified caller seems to know many of my details I could not help but wish i could track him down for my peace of mind. I happened to learn about Phone Lookup Investigator,  a site that gives users the chance to share the experiences of recieving a call from someone they do not know. With Phone Lookup Investigator you can have Phone Number Info of the unidentified caller. All you have to do is to type the number in a box so that you will see if there are comments about that particular number you have entered. If there are no comments you could be the first to put in a comment for that number so that other people who might be victimized by the same caller would have some information. This is a good way to warn other.

The Online Source for Reverse Phone Lookup

I while ago, stumbled upon National Phone Book, a website that provides local and state phone book directory information. This website is capable of finding the owner of any phone number. Now it would be easier to track down a prankster who has nothing to do in the middle of the night but call you just to tell you a lousy joke. National Phone Book allows you to do a reverse phone book look up. If you have the number from an unknown caller, all you have to do is go to the site and click the Reverse Phone Book Look up button and you will be brought to a page where you can enter in a box the telephone number whose owner you would like to identify. After entering the number a search in the database of National Phone Book will be done, their database compiles information from various resources, including business phone books, white pages phone book, local phonebooks and the phonebook directory.

It is not only reverse phone book look up that can be done in the site, you can do different kinds of searches like search of cellphone numbers and phone book directory search. And if you happen to need to know the area code of a particular state, the site's Area Code Listing by State comes handy.

How Safe is Your Neighborhood?

The safety of our family members is always at the top of our list. In this time when it is really easy for people to move from one place to another, it is really hard to tell whether one's neighborhood is safe or not. A security measure like knowing where these menace of society (like sexual predators) are and what to do when you know that they are in your neighborhood is a must. Good thing there is Megan's Law, a federal bill that requires that the public to be kept informed of sexual predators and their whereabouts. You can now get a list of Sexual Predators so that you know if one is in your neighborhood. You can now browse by state, country, or city the list of registered sexual offenders. At least if we know that there is no sexual predator or any criminal lurking in our neighborhood we can relax and have always good night's sleep.

Do You Want to Promote Your Music For Free?

The world is so full of talented artists who could forever exist in obscurity because they do not know where or how to distribute their work. I know that every serious musician wants to get signed and make it big but they just do not know where to start. A while ago I stumbled upon a site that unsigned musicians could use as a tool for music promotion. Unicorn Media helps emerging artists promote their content in high quality digital format. It is free for any artist to have his work promoted by Unicorn Media and it is also free for users and fans to enjoy the artists' works. But do not think that I am talking about a site that promotes only music. If you go to their Artist Beta you will see that a wide variety of high quality content are featured there. There are films from independent film makers in their video section that you can check out too. I was impressed by Soul Searcher, a film by Wysiwyg Films. The film is a high-concept effects laden-drama about a lowly young street sweeper who is chosen as the successor of a dying grim reaper. I found out that it took Wysiwyg Films four years to make this film.

I stayed for a long time in the music section because I was hooked to one of the many featured bands there. The music of Pedja really got into me, especially their instrumental pieces Raindrops and Broken Engagement. Raindrops is a latin and blues based instrumental that I could not get enough of. I checked about the band Pedja and found out that the leader of the band is a Family Physician based in Arizona. His duties as a doctor had kept him away from his love (music) for 16 years. Then in 2005 he woke up one morning and composed one of the songs that are now featured in the Artist Beta in Unicorn Media. I really like the music of this band so I wanted to become their friend. So I signed up for an artist account (it's free) and am planning to add Pedja to my friends list in Unicorn Media. Yes, I signed up as an artist because me and my hubby are into this little home recording project of ours, who knows we would finish two or three songs in the next few weeks. If you are not an artist you can sign up as a fan or advertiser. Sign up is free.

You can also check out Unicorn Media's blog, unicornsightings.com, it is full of posts that are sure to help artists with tips and information.

Unicorn Media is for all those artists out there who want to promote their content and for people who want to enjoy quality content. So what are you waiting for, check their site now.
