I have Allergies

photo from: Cookie Magazine

I am suffering from some kind of allergy, it started the other night, my nose just suddenly felt as if I got a very bad case of colds. My throat got suddenly so itchy. It just came, without a warning. I was feeling good but suddenly two hours after dinner when I felt it. Josh and I started reading books before bedtime . When I started telling stories using his stuffed toys that is when I felt it opn me :c I think it is not the food we had for dinner because we ate the same food and my hubby and son didn't show any signs of the allergy. And besides, the food was good. Now I feel bad, I feel like staying in bed. I have taken some antihistamine to relieve the runny nose this morning. I feel uncomfortable.

I had never felt my allergy on dusts and smoke this bad. Before, it doen't stay until the next day. I got this from my mom. When she starts cleaning she gets this allergy exactly like having colds but worst because of the feeling of thickness in the throat. She sneezes a lot. She also acquires this when she eats seafoods like shrimps, squid and some seashells :c

Now my son Joshua started to have colds last night he couldn't sleep much and could not breathe on his nose alone. I just hope it doen't go on to having asthma attacks again :c

Pink Heart Tag

This lovely heart tag was shared to me by ShaSha of  Ako...I...Io. Thanx so much Sha for this inspiring Tag c: She asked me to share it with people who has touched my life in a positive way. The heart tag comes along with some inspirational phrases we can reflect on. Please do this tag and give special time to  reflect on the phrases.

Here it goes c: .....

The Pink Heart Tag

The 10 commandments is not a multiple choice.

The mind is like a parachute; it only functions when it's open.

One thing you can give and still keep is your WORD.

You lie the loudest when you lie to yourself.

When you lack the courage to start, then you're already finished.

One thing you can't recycle is TIME.

The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.

The heaviest thing you can carry is GRUDGE.

Be kinder than just necessary, because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of a battle.

A sharp tongue can cut your own throat.

If you want to make your dreams come true, do not oversleep.

Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important.

The best vitamin for making friends is B1 (to be one yourself).

The pursuit of happiness is a chase of a lifetime. It is 'never late to become what you might have been'.

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right...Forgive the one's who don't. "Believe everything happens for a reason". If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. "Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it".

Friends are like balloons, once you let them go you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away. Sometimes we are caught up with who's right or who's wrong. Sometimes we just don't realize what friendship means until it's too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm gonna tie you to my heart so I'll never lose you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am sharing this tag to my friends who have inspired and touched my life. These people are:
Mommies Umma, Rose, Sheng, Tiffiney, Berry, Gem, Bai Prema, Cecile, Kikamz, Moon Loh, JoanJoyce, Dorothy, Anne, Claire, Maricris. Included too are my Tandem Friends and Mindanao On-Line Friends.

Please share this tag to people who touched your life or someone you feel like sharing it and spread the word of love. You are free to add your own images to every phrase included. The images I posted are my interpretations of the lines.

To my family and friends:
Thank You so much for the love and pains you have given me c:
It had made me a better person c:
I thank the Lord for all of you for being a part of my life c:
Your simple ways are greatly appreciated c:
may the Lord shower you with more love and blessings as you are all to me c:

Natural Thing

It has been a week since I wrote something about my family. I had been feeling a little lazy so I had skipped writing. I know my period is coming and it arrived just this morning and like most ladies like me, we don't want to move much and is a lot "not in the mood" now a days :p

(entrance of the play area)

Anyway, we had a small trip to the mall just this weekend and ate at Mc Donalds. My little boy loves to play at their play area so we had to eat there c: We ordered our food and as usual me and dad started eating while my son ran out to play. He is always like this when we go to Mc Donalds, and in a little while he rans back to grab a bite and eat his favorite sundae c: Then he rans back to play some more.

(end of the slide)

In a little while I noticed this particular girl about 5 years in age. She was really chubby anyway, she started to hit a certain little girl a lot smaller in size compared to her. The smaller girl ran up to her dad and hid but the bigger girl followed her and started hitting her again. Good thing the little girls dad stopped her and asked the chubby girl why she was hitting her child. The chubby girl ran back to her play. Sitting while my eyes searched for her guardian to know if this child was beeing watched. This is to see to it that she won't hurt anybody else (mother's instinct). Good thing my son ran back and I warned him not to go near that particular girl to avoid beeing hurt. Then I saw the chubby girls guardian sitting by the play area just looking at her and not making an effort to stop the child. I later on noticed that her child was special and maybe she doesn't know how to stop her and even prevent other kids to be hurt by her child. I was struck with compassion for the both of them. I know she just wants her child to enjoy but she doesn't know how to stop her. I also am a mom so I understand her. I also had that natural instinct to call Josh and tell him not to go back and play. I later on explained to him why, dad and I explained to him that we fear he might get hurt and we can't prevent it while he is inside the play area. We ate and talked to Josh so he would still enjoy being there. Then we heard another mom seeing her child inside the tube like play area crying. They shouted too because they saw their child being hit again for the 2nd time by the other girl. She told her crying child to slide down and leave the place. The mother collected her crying child.

I have mixed feelings for this incident. I feel for that chubby childs mom and even wishing I could be of help. Another is the feeling of protectiveness for my child too :c

My Heart Cries

photo from : Rowland

You are my hiding place;
You preserve me from trouble;
You surround me with songs
of deliverance.

Many are the sorrows of the wicked,
but he who trusts in the Lord,
lovingkindness shall surround him.
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
you righteous ones;
And shout for joy,
all you who are upright in heart.

Psalms 32: 7, 10 & 11

My heart cries out in prayer today :c My son is sick again with asthma we have the medicine for him, and I thank the Lord for that. We have food but sadly it is not the right one to promote healing for him because it will only highten his allergy. Chicken, eggs, hotdog, chocolates are some of the food that hightens it. We have money in Paypal but again we have problems in our EON account and so we can't withdraw our money :c

I choose not to give up but trust on our Lord who has always been providing for us ever since our wedding plans and ever since I was born c: Indeed He is our hiding place, our shelter and our deliverance.

Amazing or what?

I am amazed on how my little boy is growing fast. He learns things early like the way he feeds himself. He started to learn to use the spoon and fork when he was just 1. My mom (his lola mama) told me it's too early, but I did not refrain my son on his steps of learning. Even though the table on his side is messy and it was hard for me to clean the mess on the floor. He is now good in feeding himself now that he is 3 and in two-months time will turn 4.

Josh started spelling his name by typing it in our computer. His dad programed the password to be his name so he could memorize his name. He spells his name J-O-S-H-U-A spacebar D-A-N-I-E-L enter c:

He started biking at the age of 2. Now he can ride his bike without the two small wheels at the side.

Now my son started to love drawing and even animation at this early age. He likes to draw in our computer more than holding pencils and crayons. Here are a few samples of his art works c:

So what do you think? Does he have a future in the field of arts? c:

Mindanao Bloggers Summit is Tomorrow

I have been busy preparing for the Summit for tomorrow and here is one of the products of it c:

Here is our (me and Pasti's) EPass for the Summit laminated.

We need Id's and I don't have any to show for now because I haven't started work yet. So I went to our local department and asked for a voters ID requirement. To my dismay I need to register but there were no schedules for registration until election time :c I was also pissed off on the way another lady near the person I am talking to was making her remarks, and kept butting in without looking at me. She also was not in a good tone of voice when she answers back. In the first place I was not talking to her, so I decided to give her this "I am new here and that is why I am asking for help and instructions!" (enough for her to hear it) I had to say it in English so she would know that I am not a common uneducated woman and that it's their duty to assist me! So to cut the story short I was refered to the Postal Office to get a postal ID.

I arrived there and was told that it would be finished in a weeks time. I told them I need it by Friday, to my surprise he told me that they can speed the process by handing him P400. WHAT!!!! Imagine that! Under The Table! HUH! Bakit nga ba ako nagugulat pa e ganyan naman talaga sa Government natin diba?! (Why would I be shocked when it is really like that in our Government). It is sad how people in our government can manipulate their own race :c

I decided not to give in and look for a place to print our EPass and laminate it as well. When I arrived there I had a chat with the owner and shared my problem regarding the postal ID and the under the table thing. She taold me that she has a solution if I am willing she would make me a fake ID. It really looked real, very tempting but I had second thoughts because that would be cheating. Cheap price for something that may give me a headache and may even end up in jail. And maybe I won't be caught but still my concience would be eating me c:

Wow! All that for one day! Wooh! Am glad I went through with it with God's grace and Him guiding me c: I also thank Him that I decided well and ended the day with pride c:

I and my family will be busy and will not be available for a few days. We'll be back to update you on the Summit c: God bless our weekend c:

My Honey Bunch c:

This same day next month marks the exact day of my honey's birthday. I'll be starting my count down. I always want it to be special because it's worth preparing for c: I don't want it to be just an ordinary day for him c:

This week I started calling him honey bunch, wala lang (a filipino expression) it just popped out of my mouth. Does it sound sweet? I don't know... maybe I'm just a sentimental kind of person and I like to be sweet ever since I was little. My parents know that.

I was sweet to him since we became friends but I wanted to be more now that we're married because I want him to feel and think that I do love him and he is special to me everyday. Also to remind him that I do not regret the day I told him that I love him and that I really want to marry him (even though the answer came late), sorry honey c: hehehe (he knows why, skip the details). May be also because I felt that I wasn't showy enough before (he also knows why).

The Folly of Worry

As we travel the road of life, obstacles often loom up before us, filling us with apprehension. Illness, surgery, financial reversal, or loss of a job threatens to keep us from reaching our goals. But as we keep on by faith, God opens a new way before us. Most of what we worry about never comes to pass. But even when trouble comes, God is there to show us a new course. We can avoid the folly of worry by trusting Him today for all our tomorrows.

Do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about its own things.
- Matthew 6:34
