The reigning Miss World Honduras, María José Alvarado Muñoz, and her sister, Sofia Trinidad Alvarado, were found murdered Wednesday. The bodies of the sisters were found on top of each other in a shallow grave beside a river in a mountainous area. The sisters had been missing for some days before their bodies were found.

Thanksgiving Day Recipe: Roast Turkey

This is good for 20 servings. You will need the following:

1 whole turkey (15 to 18 pounds)

2 cups of rock salt

1 cup white wine (preferably dry)

2/3 cup melted butter

3 medium sized onions

3 stalks of celery

3-4 carrots (chopped)

some bay leaf

some frresh thyme

What to do:

Remove the giblet and the neck of the turkey. Rub the inside and the outside of the turkey with the rock salt. After rubbing it with salt put the turkey in a big stock pot, add cold water. Put the pot in the fridge, leave it like that for 12 hours, this will allow the salt to seep into the turkey.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C. While preheating the oven rinse the turkey with running water, be sure to do it thoroughly. You can now throw away the water in which you have soaked the turkey for 12 hours.

Place the turkey on a shallow roasting pan with the breast side down and brush the melted butter on the turkey. Stuff the turkey with 2 onions, 2 carrots, 1 sprig of thyne, bay leaf and celery. The remaining ingredients should be scattered around the buttom of the roasting pan.

Roast the turkey in the preheated oven without cover for 4 hours or a little less than that if you prefer it to be light but be sure that the internal temperature of the thigh get up to 180 degrees F. Turn the turkey breast side up and brush it with melted butter. Let it stand for about 30 minutes then serve.

Pacquiao vs. Algieri Live Coverage and Results

The Pacquiao vs. Algieri match is inching nearer and every Pacquiao fan is somewhat excited about this fight. Although this is not the Pacman dream fight that everyone wants, it is still something worth looking forward to. For many boxing "experts," Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2) is way too strong for the relatively green horn Chris Algieri (20-0). Pacquiao is coming off two straight wins but the shadow of that terrible defeat against Juan Manuel Marquez two years ago still hangs heavy over The Pacman's head. If Pacquiao defeats Algieri, which is very likely, the trip to dreamland he took via Marquez's punch will still remain in the memory of boxing fans. What the stubborn world wants to see is the ultimate fight that Pacman should do before the sun sets down on his boxing career, the fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. But of course that fight will remain in dreamland because it is destined not to be fought. So the people will just have to do with this not so exciting Pacquiao vs. Algieri match.

For those who do not know yet (where were you?), the Pacquiao vs. Algieri match will be happening on November 22 at The Venetian Macao in Macau, China. That's also another contributing factor why this fight is not that exciting--the fact that it will be held in Macau.

Anyways, just bookmark this page because we will be bringing you LIVE COVERAGE of the match, round by round on the day of the fight.

Dance and Lights

I stumbled upon this video today. I enjoyed watching it. While watching it amaed my mind also was busy thinking about how the choreographer did this thing. Probably they master the dance routine first then the dancers are filmed performing the dance without the lights. Graphic artists are then tasked to create the light effects based on the video of the dance routine. Now when what the graphic artists created is projected on the stage it would fit the routine perfectly. Looks complicated but it is actually easy.
