Polish President Plane Crash

Polish President Plane Crash. Today is a very sad day for Poland because Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his wife and several top military officials were killed in a plane crash at a western Russian airport. The crash took the lives of all of all of those who were aboard the plane, 97 all in all.



Kaczynski was traveling with the Polish delegation to Russia for the 70th anniversary of Polish prisoners of war massacre in the village of Katyn in Russia. The plane came from Warsaw and crashed while it was on the process of landing. The plane was trying to land in heavy fog and it probably hit some trees while on it.
