Entre Card was down for a couple of days and is now back c: The other day while my hubby was dropping EC's in the middle of the night we decided to take a break and have a midnight snack. "Balut" (aborted ducks egg) this is one of the delicacies to us Filipinos c: To others it may be yucky to us it's yummy c:Here's the view from the inside c:

Yucky pictures, but delicious delicacy. I could have more than 3 of that in one sitting.
I've only eaten one balut in my life. Call me maarte :D but I can't bring myself into eating it whole.
But I do love penoy!!!!
Luckily, I can enjoy 'balut' here in South Australia anytime. The Asian Stores (owned by Thai and Vietnamese) nearby are selling it!

Hello Mommy Icy, wooooo.. I love the sabaw and eggyolk only of the balut.. can't take to eat the other parts hehehe..
This made me miss Pinas hayyyy...... my friends advised me to eat it in a dark place so i can eat the whole thing but when i tried i just gagged and gagged hehehe..
I'm a vegetarian...so I will pass ;) wild looking pictures..Hope you are having a great week so far!

i like balut but if the chick is too big i give it to my husband and just eat the yellow part, but if it's not too big then i eat it all... when my husband and i were trying to get pregnant we ate a whole lot of balut for energy... hehehe *wink wink :)
