A 23-year-old man sought in the slayings of three family members in Darien was taken into custody at his parents' home in southern Florida this afternoon, officials said.

Jacob B. Nodarse was found sleeping in a minivan outside the home in Lehigh Acres near Fort Myers around 3 p.m., according to Deputy U.S. Marshal Rick Jessup.

Nodarse is being held in the Lee County Jail on an obstruction of police charge out of Illinois, but Jessup said he is a "prime suspect" in the murders of Jeffrey Kramer, 50, his wife Lori, 48, and their youngest son Michael, 20.

No murder charges have been filed against Nodarse.
