Ghost Chair

Don't think about ghosts or a haunted house because this post is not about ghosts. I know that many of you are not familiar with the ghost chair. The ghost chair is not something that ghosts sit on, it got that kind of name because of how it looks and the kind of material it is made of. A ghost chair is a normal chair except that it is translucent. It is made of material that is see through, almost like glass. Ghost chairs are made of transparent polycarbonate and they look as if they are made of glass. Here is an image of ghost chairs:


Ghost chairs have become popular, it is slowly becoming ubiquitous, you can see it anywhere, mostly in children's rooms because children love the idea of having a translucent chair, of having a ghost chair. Philippe Starck is the designer of the Louis ghost chair which is made in transparent polycarbonate for Kartell. The Lou Lou Ghost Chair is a smaller version of the ghost chair and it is called Lou Lou Ghost Chair which is sold at $133.
