Wynonna Judd, famous for hits like “To Be Loved By You” and “I Saw the Light,” will dance in this season’s competition with partner Dovolani, who won season 15 with Melissa Rycroft. Judd has won five Grammys with her impressive vocal skills, so it will be interesting to see if she has the dancing skills to match.
Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman will also be a contestant on the 16th season of the ABC series. Gymnast Shawn Johnson won the 8th season of “Dancing With the Stars,” likely leaving fans with some high expectations for Raisman.
Other sports stars that will participate in the new season include ice skating legend Dorothy Hamill, boxer Victor Ortiz and Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones .
Reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump has also signed on for this season of “Dancing,” taking a break from the intense weekly drama on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Bravo fans can probably expect to see her “Beverly Hills” BFF Brandi Glanville in the audience this season, along with Vanderpump’s well known (and well-dressed) dog, Giggy.
