Miss America 2011 Winner

Alyssa Campanella of California bested 51 other contestant in the the 2011 Miss USA pageant to become the 2011 Miss USA. Ms. Campanella is a self-described "history geek," she tweeted that she was "born in the wrong time period and played the popular pig-exploding game Angry Bird backstage on her iPad before the pageant Sunday night." Ms. Campanella wants to become a model, of course, it all depends on how she would fare in her run as Miss USA. And who do you think is the celebrity she would like to meet now that she is a celebrity herself? Surprise: it's Pastry chef Buddy Valastro of TLC reality show Cake Boss. Yes, and here's what she said about Valastro: "I love to bake cakes, and he's an Italian, and he acts like I do in the kitchen."
