American Idol Voting Controversy

There are rumors coming out that the voting in American Idol where Kris Allen won has some irregularities. It is said that some AT&T employees were present at an undetermined number of pro-Allen parties in the singer's hometown of Conway, Arkansas, last week, helping his supporters lodge multiple votes. But AT&T and Fox say that this is a non-issue. Here's the statement from the show's producers, FremantleMedia North America, 19 Entertainment, and Fox Broadcasting Company. "
"Fox and the producers of 'American Idol' are absolutely certain that the results of this competition are fair, accurate and verified,Kris Allen is, without a doubt, the 'American Idol.' We have an independent third-party monitoring procedure in place to insure the integrity of the voting process. In no way did any individuals unfairly influence the outcome of the competition."
The story about the "power voting controversy first came out in Arkansas Democrat-Gazette then Times has picke it up.

Well, if there is a possibility that there was some cheating going on, then that is bull. At&t shouldn't be the only service that can vote through texting. If one service can do it, then all should be able to. Back to the issue with the cheating, that isn't fair at all for the fact that if "power voting" was brought in, obviously that's cheating. You can say all you want that Kris is still the American Idol with the third party saying it is fair, but it still isn't right. Another thing that affected the decision is the fact that Adam in different being as he is gay, has pictures of him on the internet making out with another guy, and dressing up as a girl, society CAN NOT accept that there are different people around the world. All in all Adam should have won because he was the better of the two, instead of Kris winning because At&t gave out phones and showed people how to do the "power voting". American Idol should really think about either taking away the fact that people can text their votes, or allow every service to text their votes. Thank you for reading my comment here and I hope that my friends and I aren't the only ones that see this.
