YES first in the world... the others were PARTIAL transplants.
Even in her case it is partial.She retains her upper fore head and parts of her chin.
But I feel the results are indeed amazing.
I must say that Connie is a fantastic human being.
Well said by her that one should focus on the donors family.

Wow, it's her fault? That she was treated in an evil way is her husband's own choice of doing. One can only be responsible for his own actions.
She may be blind or truly compassionate, and many women fall for jerks, but either way every person inherently deserves respect--the jerks' actions are of their own evil choice. You can't blame one person for another person's actions, no matter how stupid or genuine they are.

The reality is, like many women, she married a jerk and got fucked over hard for it. The way I see it, she just got fucked over in a "different" way. Her entire incident was just a ticking time bomb waiting to happen and it's entirely her own damn fault. All she had to do was not be into jerks, and she'd still have her original face.
To make matters worse, she's going back to same asshole who made her look like an alien after he gets out of prision.
If he decides to kill her next time(And Im assuming he will now), then that's her own problem.

It doesnt matter if they were together or not, being in the wrong place at the wrong time happens to alot of people.
Saying this is connies fault, is like saying that the victims of 9-11 should blame themselves.
Honestly show some respect and sympathy since she has gone through alot, im 14 and i know how to address the situation in a more mature manner then you.
she wants her husbent back, becouse she WANTS an husbent, and that`s the only one she`s got.no-one wants to get rejected and die alone, she needs an husbent, some-one to be there for her. im sure they had plenty of good times in their marrige too, and she lives threw those moments every day for the rest of her life, becouse for her it`s not a case of just walking away and finding a new man, look at her :( what he did to her was horrible, but we dont know WHY he shot her...?
