This day marks the day I started Blogging. And in celebration, unlike most blogs I shall not be having a contest nor giveaways but instead I am launching my new E-Shop c: Hah !!! At last my online ethnic accessories store is now up. My hubby spent the whole day setting it up. Now it is online and I am happy about it. This project is long overdue and now it's finally up and running. I have yet to go to a trip to Lake Sebu, to buy more ethnic accessories to add to my current listing. Check out my store now, it is named Purple Chicken Heart (http://purplechickenheart.net)

wow, congrats! you've gone a long way na pala....keep it up!
It is good that you're promoting products from our own culture. It takes a great skill to make those necklaces and bracelets. And the makers usually remain poor - which is sad.
Anyway, they are not just accessories. I think it would be better to include the cultural significance of these material artifacts.
Oh, and btw! Back then, they used bronze for the necklaces and the bracelets. Are they still using them now? 'Cause in a documentary I watched in class, it says that the B'laans (T'boli is a very general term for many Lumads living in the Mindanao) of Lake Sebu uses melted plastic now. Still, they retain their creativeness and resourcefulness. And I hope we take credit for their skills.
