The unemployment rate in Pennsylvania has not shown any sign that it would get better. What it was in May is still the same now. The last three months hasn't brought any improvement at all. The PA unemployment rate is looking grim, 2.5 million people have lost their jobs already. The data in the Labour Department shows that the unemployment rate climbed to 8.5 percent from 8.1 percent in February, in line with economists’ forecasts. The rural areas in Pennsylvania are the hardest hit in the unemployment.
