Guru Dead

Guru Dead! The Gang Starr rapper Guru has lost his battle against cancer at the age of 43. Guru (Keith Elam) was a member of the duo Gang Starr. He was considered a legend and one of the pioneers of hip hop-jazz crossover.

Guru has been trying to keep his illness to himself but in 2010 the cancer has overtaken him and he had to admit himself to the hospital. While Guru was in the hospital, he wrote a letter to his fans, told them about his illness. If you want to read his letter, check it out here:
