1. Have a cup of tea. Coffee and tea are diuretics, so a cup of either every hour until midday will help your body flush out extra water and shrink your stomach.

2. Eat a mini meal. A small bowl of cereal or tub of yogurt when you wake up will keep your energy up and hunger at bay.

3. Get moving. Any moderate to intense activity – a 15- minute jog, walking to work – will jump start the de-bloat process and rev up your metabolism.
