Toy Story

One (actually two) of my son's favorite movies are Toy Story 1 and 2. My little boy have watched these two movies countless times but still he never fails to watch it at least two or three times a week. The movie shows the relationship of the toys with their owners. Woody, the puppet cowboy (lead act) shows and promotes trust and valuing on people and things (though in part 1 of the movie there were hints of naughtiness and trickery). My little boy learned to value his toys. He saw Sid (the villain) destroying his toys and he saw that it was wrong. “I don’t want to be like that” he said. In part two of the movie we are reminded that we must not judge people by their appearance; Woody judged the mangled toys of Sid as monsters when in fact they were good natured. The value of friendship and camaraderie is shown by the group of toys. Unity is another issue shown, where the toys joined efforts to to help a friend and achieve what would have been unachievable.
