There are many places in the world that I would like to visit. Most of these places are in Europe but there are also places in North and Central America that I would like to go to. What makes me want to visit a place? Well, there are many factors but one strong factor is the richness of the heritage and culture of a place. Would you belive me that there is one place in Central America that I would like to visit? Yes, Panama. Don't be surprised, and yes, you heard it right, Panama. Most of us know the name but I know that majority of those who know the name know little about this country. I have seen many pictures and I have read some magazine that cover Panama. I have also visited sites about Panama. What makes me interested in this place by the way? The rich pre-Columbian heritage of the people of this place that could be traced back to thousands of years. And it is still evident in the art and artifacts you'll find there today.
There is one place in Panama that I really like, it is Casco Antiguo. The UNESCO recognized this place as a world heritage. Casco Antiguo is a very interesting place because of many physical and universal aspects of this historical location. The rich architechtural styles in the buildings that line the brick streets of Casco Antiguo show Panama's diverse culture and history. In this region you can see old churches, ruins that speak a lot about a rich history, and there are museums too.
Casco Antiguo was a place of commerce in the past, now it is a tourist destination. The place is so scenic and there would be a lot of opportunities to take pictures with the great architectural backdraft. Casco Antiguo is located just a few minutes away of downtown Panama City.
Now, there is another thing that makes casco antiguo a very attractive place to visit, Hotel Casco Antiguo - a condo hotel in the region. Hotel Casco Antiguo is the oldest continuously operating hotel in Panama. This hotel has a very good Andalusian ambiance. The Andalusian details is crossed with modernity and sophistication, this is something that other mainstream hotels could not offer. Hotel Casco Antiguo is on the process of becoming a condominium-hotel with 34 rooms complete with amenities. This is a good opportunity for real estate investment. It would be nice to make it as a retirement place, a second home. Investing in a place like this could give back many returns because in one of the fastest growing real estate markets in the world.

Oh how nice it would be to travel more! I would love to see this place one day..must add to list! :) My list is getting sooooo very long. I keep saying one day I will go..I hope that one day comes sooner then later!
just whisper it to God in prayers wishes do come true dear c: not only in Pinochio c:
I love visiting other places, other than the Philippines. The view is splendid.
I could just really wish. Panama looks like a very interesting place. We could relate to it. We still have that traces of Spanish heritage.
tama ka dyan mare c:
someday mapupuntahan din natin ang mga gusto natin puntahan walang impossible sa Dios if it is His will c:
di ko nga akalaing mapapapunta ako dito at dito pako nagasawa c:
We could just see look at that picture, or see other pics in other blogs, you know... hehehe
I just wish we could venture out. Inggit talaga ako sa ibang foreigners who visit us. Sana ang Pinoy pwede afford na magtravel sa ganito, with the purpose of just enjoying the luxuries and not finding better paying opportunities.
Agree with Gem
that's what I want as well, travel lang for leisure/study but not for work
Especially I would to erase the notion abroad that Filipinos are nannies, maids and prostitutes abroad
ang sad talaga :(
Panama is interesting. Spanish ba main language nila?
I have something for you on my blog :)
@gem
tama ka sana nga we could but no harm in desiring and praying for it sabi ko nga kay tiff wishes do come true not only in Pinochio story c:
@Pchi
yes, i think 87-88% na language nila Spanish, some yiddish and hebrew c:
just a thought what's wrong of being a nanny or maid? nannies are second parents i know one who influences her mga alaga through being a nanny my mom was before naging helper din sya bago sya naging teacher yet she learned from them too just like studying. marangal na trabaho at the same time her salary and experience gained made her a better person and and learn different cultures kasi di lang isa natutunan nya pati pagluto ng different food and menus nila c: bake as well.
it's the way we view things and the world honey c: it's also good na we could change their perspective of us. specially yung mga nangaabuso sa ating mga Pilipino at mga nagpapakulong sa atin at walang respeto sa mga babae natin(raped,dinala sa jail,pinugutan or sentenced without fair trial) :c let's start to change the world starting in our small works and let it multiply sa mga anak natin and studyante (your a teacher right c:)
God bless your heart Pchi c:
@tiff c:
sure dear i'll be coming over c:
i wish to travel too, kaya lang...impossible na
I don't have discrimination against nannies/maids ate
i am sorry if ganyan ang naging dating sa yo, and maybe because it hurt you personally
I am against discrimination, I respect blue collar jobs... they are people, they are God's lovely people
but you know, I wish our people don't have to go abroad and maging helper sa mga banyaga
don't people realize these individuals are making their lives better?
I am actually thinking of doing a post like that but many people will attack me maybe
because we know ang dami sa atin ang may katulong
My hearts desire talaga is wala nang maid/nanny na kailangan pang mag-abroad
or wala ng maids/nannies talaga...
parang most people are treating them as slaves kasi
magulo pa ang isip ko, pero will write about that next time
@nanay belen c:
walang imposible kay Lord c:
@Pchi
nope i didn't feel hurt i was just pointing out some roles they play c: importante rin work nila c: tama ka jan c:
good write a post about them c: i will too some day when i have time c: tama dapat may tariff din sila kasi abusado ang iba :c
thanx for sharing your side dear c:
