[The Glory] This is why Ha Do Young did not divorce park Yeon Jin immediately after dicovering her crimes

Netflix Korea released a commentary video on March 26th for "The Glory" Part 2 on its official YouTube channel. The video featured actors Jung Sung Il, Kim Hieora, Cha Joo Young, Kim Gun Woo, Park Sung Hoon, writer Kim Eun Sook, and director Ahn Gil Ho. During the commentary, Kim Eun Sook delved into the complicated feelings of Ha Do Young (played by Jung Sung Il), a character that has elicited mixed reactions from viewers.

Viewers have been debating the reasons why Ha Do Young didn't immediately leave Park Yeon Jin (played by Lim Ji Yeon). When Kim Eun Sook was asked about Ha Do Young's feelings for Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo), she explained that his line "I hate to say I don't know, but I don't know yet. I just realized that I'll never leave her. So let's meet again" conveyed his emotions well. This meant that Ha Do Young understood that he was only of use to Dong Eun if he remained Yeon Jin's husband, and if he left her, he would have no reason to see Dong Eun again. He wanted to continue seeing Dong Eun, so he didn't leave Yeon Jin. Although he was unsure of his feelings towards Dong Eun at first, he realized he loved her while having triangle gimbap.
