I am so happy today. I joined Top Blogs Philippines yesterday and placed Pinay Chicken Heart under the "Personal" category. Just about 20 hours after joining Top Blogs Philippines, this blog climbed to number one. Wow, I am so happy considering that there are more than a thousand blogs under this category :) I hope to maintain this position or stay in the top 10 for some time.
My other blog, Wow Legs is in number 4 in the same category in Top Blogs Philippines, it has been in the top ten in the last two months. My hubby's other blog, My Freedom Wall, is in number 6 in the same category. This calls for a celebration!
Pinay Chicken Heart is also the top blog in Widgetbox's Family section for more than a week now. Yipee!!! Thanks hubby for the tweaks!

Before this week ends I could not help myself to give thanx to God for the blessings He has been showering on my other blog Wow Legs. My husband has been experimenting with how to increase the traffic of that blog and in the last 15 days it has averaged 1,400+ hits a day, it is a very big improvement and my Google analytics says that the traffic of that blog has increased 2,070.11%.
Woohoo! 90% of that traffic comes from the search engines like Google and MSN. I haven't dropped a single Entrecard for that blog for almost a month now. It really helps a lot with our Adsense earnings; our Adsense earnings for this month of April alone is good enough for another cashout. I could not believe that we earned in one month what took us almost a year to earn in the past. If this kind of thing would continue, it is possible for us to get Adsense cheque every month :) Thank you Lord c:

The supposed to be simple act of adding images to my blog posts often give me some problems. I am not that very technical so downloading, resizing and uploading images for my articles often feel like hard work. My husband taught me how to resize pictures without the use of special software but it took me a week to get the hang of it and I won't deny the fact that I am still not very comfortable with it (what with those lots of keys to hit). Another problem with adding images to my blog posts is copyright issues, I know that we could not just search for images twith our favorite search engine then just grab them and post them proudly in our blogs. We have to respect the rights of the owners. But this problems with posting images with my blog posts has been solved after I found a site that gives free images for bloggers. This site is acobox.com. I signed up for an account with this site because with them I don't have to search the whole web for images that are good with my blog posts and I don't have to worry about copyright and license issues because the site guarantees that all their images are properly licensed. And what's very good about it is that I don't need to download the free blog images from them because acobox hosts the images. All I need to do is hotlink the image I want to use from them. nd I don't have to optimize the images I use for the web because they do it for me, isn't it nice for Mom bloggers like me to not worry about the technical side of things in blogging? My hubby bought me a domain from GoDaddy and I am so happy about it :) It just took around 20 minutes to do it; from the buying and the setting up of the new domain. He used Gem's post as guide in the set up because it is his first time to use GoDaddy (two of his domains were bought from 1and1). Now this blog's url is www.pinay-chicken-heart.com. Actually he bought two domains today, one is for a blog that is still being conceptualized and would probably be up two of three weeks from now. He said that it would be a guitar blog.

Advantages of Blogging:

My husband has a new blog. This blog, named Violet Moon, is intended to be a place for his (and sometimes my) digital art creations. He likes fooling around with different graphic software like Adobe Photoshop, KoolMoves, 3D Studio Max, Cinema 4D, Anim8or, and other applications inside the Adobe Creative Suite 3. As of now there are only two posts in this blog. Tomorrow more artworks would be added, some from his old creations.
This blog will not be limited to just graphic arts. We are also planning to put some of the music we are working together to create. We are also into some home recording stuff because it is fun.

I started a new blog, launched it a few days ago. This new blog of mine will not be like Pinay Chicken heart because it will not focus on parenting only but on anything that amazes me. I am a woman who has a lot to tell about the things that happens to me every day. These things are not only about being a mother and a wife but about being a complete woman.
You might wonder about the name I have chosen for this blog, Wow Legs. I want to share in this blog the amazing things, events and anything that amazes me in my life. I chose this name because this site will be filled with things that makes me say "wow" and I hope people who will read it will feel the same way too. I chose this expression because we often have a second look when we see people (especially women) with great legs. My best friend thinks I have great legs, and that's another reason why I chose it. He also explained to me that a woman's legs could have a personality of their own and that it is possible to read a woman by the way her legs behave. Because of that he married me :p he he he. Feel free to comment on each post that interests you.
