Are Your Lines Good Enough?

I've heard my share of bad pick up lines. They really turn me off. A pickup line will immediately show the color of the mind of the man using it. Pick up lines are important, they are man's ticket to the woman's heart. A good pickup line plus the man's looks will definitely ensnare a woman. A woman with good looks and wears a Victory Hair is sure to have many men throwing their pick up lines at her, all she has to do is to snub all the guys with the bad pickup lines and take a second look at the one whose line impressed her.

If you would like to see if your lines could capture a woman's heart, why not try your luck with Ultimate Flirting Championship sponsored by Extreme Style by VO5. Hone your skills in flirting and throwing pickup lines there, who knows you'll get the woman you've been looking for. Grab the widget below and play the game.

I'll Bet My sushi That You'll Love This Game

Do you know how to use chopsticks? Well, you better start learning how if you want to enjoy Screenlife Game's new DVD game Banzai. This new DVD game is based on the hit comedy betting gameshow Banzai. If you are familiar with the TV show and one of those who enjoyed its wackiness, I am sure you'd start thinking about getting a copy of the DVD game. The game is fun to play with your family or with friends during casual gatherings. I visited the game's website and enjoyed playing with the Tako-gotchi there. I also found a lot Banzai rubbish that I could fill my hard disk with. I downloaded a screensaver and a wallpaper that my little boy really love. Now my PC has the Banzai look. That's the wallpaper I've downloaded below:

How do you play this game, you might ask. Players use chopsticks to move four types of wacky sushi characters into the "community bettng bowl". The player who transfers the most sushi for that round gets to put down a numbered or lettered betting card in conjunction with the "Banzai" clip in the hopes of getting it right and winning all the sushi in the community bowl. The player who gets the most sushi wins the game. Don't worry if you do not have real sushi because wacky plastic sushis come with the DVD game set.

ScreenLife Games is at it again. They launched a new Banzai game. Check it out:

Banzai is now available for purchase so grab your copy now and spend a lot of your evenings playing this wacky game with your friends or family.

How Nutty Are You?

We all have it -- our nutty streak. I know that I have my nutty side too but it fades in comparison to the many nutty sides of my husband. (Sorry honey, I have to tell the world some of your nuttiness). My husband is really nuts, you'll know it after you become close to him and he gets quiet comfortable with you. One minor nutty thing about him that is quiet harmless is his ability to make a joke out of almost anything. It is as if he is always living in a land where people think of nothing but jokes, where people never take anything seriously. You'll never see it in the way he dresses, the way he walks or talks because he really looks like the average serious guy, the kind that gives you serious answers when you want them. But he is not like that. Even if he is in the direst of situations he'll always manage to kick in a very original joke that could lighten up or worsen the situation. This is not so nutty, but when it is taken to a higher level I guess it becomes very nutty. He can lead you in a long conversation that really looks serious and important but after about ten or so minutes at it, when you are inside his story, he'll suddenly put in a punch line that would make the carefully invented story come crashing down on you to make you realize that you had been the object of his joke. It's funny but sometimes it is irritating.

Another quirky thing about him is that he hates to eat on a wet plate, even just a tiny accidental drop of water on a plate would make him change the plate with a new one that is dry as the desert. It is also like that with spoons and forks. And mugs too. He also told me that when he was young there were times when he needed to touch things (like door knobs, coins, pens, or anything that catches his fancy) to satisfy some kind of itch in his mind. There are more but I would need more words to illustrate them. Do the things that I have mentioned sound nutty to you? Do you have them? Are you afraid that you are nuts because you do things that you think are nuts? I know that you would like to know if you are nuts. I know that you are curious about other people's nuttiness because you want to have a point of comparison.

Curious about how many people in the world mirror your quirks? Reader's Digest will give you the answer. Are You Normal or Nuts? Have you asked your self this question after doing something? To answer these questions just go to Reader's Digest Laughs and see how nutty or normal are you compared with other people. There you will read about other people's quirks and learn about yours.

Atashin’ Chi ( Bad for Kids)

I always watch T.V. with my son during the morning and I can’t help but notice one particular cartoon series. It focuses on a Japanese family with 2 kids, a boy and a girl. It started last month and its first few episodes were a shock to me because the villain was their mom. I think we should really see what our kids are watching. This cartoon is not for kids because of its connotation of how moms shouldn’t be. I don’t know maybe I’m too defensive because I’m a mother too. Anyway, the first episode for example showed her mom preparing pack lunch for the kids and for their dad. The little girl was complaining that her pack lunch was not colorful enough (Japanese way of preparing food is crucial for them), next day she complained that there was only one dish and so on. Her mom was always shouting and kept saying “Bakit ba masyado kang maarte at mapili?” (Why are you too choosy?), “Bakit ang tatay mo hindi nagrereklamo?”(Why is it that your dad is not complaining? ). The complaining never ends even though her mom kept on resolving her complaint. In the end her mom was fed up and stopped her effort. I noticed too that even the endings of each episode were negative no good resolutions. The writer was intending to humor the watcher but I think it’s not funny and it encourages wrong values for kids. The mother in this cartoon is intentionally made to appear a nagger, what with a very big mouth; the other characters have normal mouth. Probably the writer and animators of this movie did not have a good childhood. This show ridicules motherhood; it shows the mother in a negative light.
