I have known my hubby since 2002 and that makes about 7 years. Married for 4 going 5 years this December. I love the fact that we were friends to best friends to couple and now still bestfriends and in a deeper kind of love c: I love him not because of what he does nor of how he does things for me but because I love him c: I love Him even if he is perfect or not c:

I love the way he makes simple ways to make me smile eventhough at times I don't recognize his efforts :c I love it when he decided and said it in the beach in Glan that it is me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with c: (he said it to me later on, I hope you did not regret it honey :p)

I love the way he spoils Josh. The way he makes time to play with his son and like Umma I think it is sexy too c: The way he effortless makes his little boy laugh and makes me smile everytime he does that c: I didn't know he was ready to be a father but he naturally became one (although he struggles to discipline his son I know he'll learn slowly :p)

I love the way he calls Josh "Babib", "Bogz" and a lot of coined words or endearment he makes for him c: I love the sweetness he shows to his son that I haven't seen in fathers I know c: ( am proud of that honey c:)

I love the way he makes effort everytime he feels I am mad at something. He knows it when I am silent and runs to give assistance when I ask and need one c:

My Honey Bunch c:

This same day next month marks the exact day of my honey's birthday. I'll be starting my count down. I always want it to be special because it's worth preparing for c: I don't want it to be just an ordinary day for him c:

This week I started calling him honey bunch, wala lang (a filipino expression) it just popped out of my mouth. Does it sound sweet? I don't know... maybe I'm just a sentimental kind of person and I like to be sweet ever since I was little. My parents know that.

I was sweet to him since we became friends but I wanted to be more now that we're married because I want him to feel and think that I do love him and he is special to me everyday. Also to remind him that I do not regret the day I told him that I love him and that I really want to marry him (even though the answer came late), sorry honey c: hehehe (he knows why, skip the details). May be also because I felt that I wasn't showy enough before (he also knows why).

Of Flowers and Men

I love flowers but unfortunately, when my husband was courting me, he did not give me flowers. He courted me with his poetry, paintings, and long romantic walks and long romantic talks. The first time he gave me flowers was on our third wedding anniversary. He gave me a dozen red roses. I was really surprised because he just came home from work, knocked at the door and when I opened it there he was with the really unexpected dozen roses and a bottle of red wine. I was so happy i cried and hugged him. To preserve the flowers, I hung them on the wall to dry. It is still there today.

Another important memory with flowers was the first time my little boy gave me flowers, he was one year old then. He just picked a little yellow wild flower from our yard and gave it to me with a wide smile on his face. To preserve it and to remind me of that moment always, I pressed it in my bible so that every time I open it I will see the flower.


Today, my little boy, now three, made me smile again by pouring a bunch of flowers from his tiny hands on our table while i was preparing lunch. He ran outside again to get more. After pourning the second batch of flowers on the table, he ran to me and embraced me and said, "Love kita mommy", with a smile that melts the heart. I gave him a tight hug and said "I love you too baby". To preserve the moment I took a picture of the flowers my son gave me.



These are my most memorable moments with flowers and men. Yes, I had my share of men who gave me flowers but those times were not as memorable as these. I remember those flowers but not the feelings anymore. Sounds like the lyrics of a song? he he he

This award is extra special because Crystal created it in honor of the donor who saved her sons life. Her son Noah had to have a heart transplant when he was just over a month old. This award is supposed to help raise awareness of the importance of organ donation.
