Another Day to Thank Our Lord

Thank you Lord for making my little boy well again c:

It has been 3 weeks since Josh had asthma. I thought he was well enough and had only small coughs when he started to have stomach aches and had fever at night. I was so worried I tried every first aid I know and even asked my sister who was a nurse about the symptoms. When nothing works the next day we went to his pedia for a check-up. He was diagnosed with slight diarhea, she told us also that he has to be treated afterwards from parasites. My son has that passion to play his cars and trucks in the sandbox after that he does not wash his hands properly. The problem is he has this habit of sucking his thumb :c  And so he acquired parasites easily :c

I usually tell him to wash his hands before eating but he sometimes grabs his toys that he has played from the sandbox. I also give him combantrin every 4 months which by the way his pedia adviced me to be cautious on what kind of dewormer I should give my child because it may not be suitable for him. His inards may be affected if the medicine is too strong.

It's a good thing we don't have to admit him to the hospital because he was eating although not much. His weight went down , he is really skinny now :c but am glad he is fine now at last c: Thank you Lord c:

And now he is so obsessed with washing his hands every now and then. Also he is not to play in his sand box, which by the way my job to remove the sand :p He is also told by 'Dra So' (the way he calls her) that he is to refrain from playing his toys from any nearby sand and soil area for him to avoid the urge to play at it. He even tells his playmates "bawal na daw ako dyan kasi dirty dyan, may bulate dyan" (I am banned from playing there because it's dirty, there are parasites there). Good thing his playmates listens to what he says c:

Thank You c:

Thank You Lord,
For saving my soul.
Thank You Lord,
For making me whole.
Thank You Lord,
For giving to me
Thy great salvation so rich
and free

This is my son Joshua's favorite song. He first heard it the day I first held him in the hospital, the first day he was to receive his first milk from me c: He was so attentive that his eyebrows were so close to each other as if he is trying to understand what I was saying c:

Now he sings it with all his heart c: Am glad this is his favorite because when he grows up it will always remind him
to be thankful to God at all times not only on Thanksgiving Days c:

Yesterday he was sick and his muscles were aching because he had a wrong posture while he was asleep so he was complaining of the pain. The other night he couldn't sleep, he kept waking me up. I was annoyed that I scolded him. He asked for milk and when I held him he was already hot. I said sorry and like a normal mom I was worried :c I kept praying for continues healing and that it will not lead to colds and eventually to Asthma :c He had it since we transferd here and he acquired it since the water here is cold at the same time the atmosphere is cold at night specially now it's December.

I bought him fruits and made some soup plus plenty of rest c: Now he is still sleeping while I am writing this. I do think he had a restful sleep. Another day to be thankful for c:
Thank you Lord for healing my son c:

Thank you Lord!

I don't want to end this week without writing about the blessing we received last monday. Here goes... c:

My little boy and I were on our way to another town to meet with my parents again c: We were excited to board our bus because my mom and dad has received their blessing and they want to share it with us. Also we are going to celebrate my little brothers birthday even though he is in Cotabato City.

To cut the long story short I received a text message announcing that I won a gift cheque worth P500. I was hesitant because of these cellphone schemes that I always receive and ignore. To verify I asked who it is and how to claim it too c: It was from our nearby grocery store called Winee Mart, told me to bring 2 valid IDs and if I lost my coupon 3 IDs are needed. I can't believe this is true!!! c:c:c: Who wouldn't want a P500 worth of groceries. Specially now that prices are going up this is a surprise blessing for us c:

In the afternoon on my way there I told dad about the good news and my son even shouted

"Thank You Lord!"

Here's the receipt of the grocery we had enjoyed

Definitely a wonderful way to start a week and definitely a
"Thank You Lord!" for us

Siesta Saturdays : Thank you Lord!

MABUHAY ! In the Philippine Islands, Siesta is a big part of each day. A time to take a break, nap or just unwind. It's but a lazy moment...

Zen Ventures

Todays question from Maricris is......

What are the things you are thankful for today? or are you like others who hold on to a grudge longer than life itself rather than be forgiving ? Are you a Negative or Positive ion?

Today my daily bible reading is exactly about things we are thankful for and one of those reminders are the answered prayers eversince my marriage c: and I have started a list of my blessings to be thankful for since then. Today here are the blessings I have or our family received and are thankful for this day.... And yes I am a positive ion because everyday is a miracle to me c:

1. Thank you Lord for my loving and understanding parents c: (never understood them until we became one ourselves c:)

2. ... for a loving and understanding husband (eversince we were just friends) c:

3. ... for our loving, bright and bubbly long haired little boy c: (our pride and joy c:)

4. ... for a house where to stay in (although still renting ).

5. ... for old and new friends on or off line c:

6. ... for good health.

7. ... for the job and on line opportunities now and to come c:

8. ... for the things we have that money can't buy c:

9. ... for the things we can now buy c:

10. ... for the blessings to come c: (yehey!)

... for all of these we Thank You Lord c:

Thanx mama n papa c:

Aside from my honey bunch, my mom would be celebrating her birthday soon c: I was hoping to see them last month but could not. Hopefully, we could arrange a joint celebration (a small family gathering) for her and my husbands birthday.

I just miss my mom so much, specially now that I have this very active little boy who reminds me of my childhood every time he experiments his capacity. He loves to climb gates, run and run, climb tables and chairs, etc. I can just imagine how my mom feels and what she does juggling around guarding us and doing her chores plus the fact that I'm a girl who has boyish activities in her head (I'm pretty much like my son when I was little). I have an older sister who is by the way just 1 year older than me and a brother who is 5 years younger than me. I don't usually get hurt and not the sickly type but is very sensitive because I'm a middle child. I felt left out and felt less loved which is not true (I later on realized it). And so I do sorts of stuff to get their attention (KSP kasi , kulang sa pansin).
Anyway, being a parent and a mother makes me realize and appreciate more my parents and most especially my mother. All the sleepless nights when your sick, the disciplining, the love and care, the multi-tasking. Boy, it's tough but it's worth it. I know my mom has heart aches even now at times on the things we do that annoys them, specially bad things. Also the dreams she and my father has planned and hoping (also for the best for you) that would be accomplished in your life. Plans to prosper you and give you hope, which at times did not happened. But onething is for sure, I'm glad that mama is my mom and papa is my dad. They had brought me up to love and respect God. Tought me the value of discipline, respect for the elders, etc. Thay had made me into a better and a respectable person that I am now. And I am happy and willing to share it to my son, with the thought in mind that he would be a better and good person that we his dad would be proud of some day. Even though he is still in the process I am willing to learn also from him. I just pray that I would be like my parents had (and is still is) be the best parent one can have.

Thank You mama and papa c: for everything c: For mama for being my first teacher on a lot of things because she is always with me eversince I was born, until now guiding me even through the cell phone.
( from left:) me, my mama, my papa and my brother marc

I can see that mothers are the first teachers, specially moms who are there for you especially on your primal years. Their discipline builds your confidence and prepares you to face the real world. Through encouragements on every achivement like learning to walk and standing up after the fall c: The dos and don'ts of things, don't cross the street, don't touch this..that, table manners, how to do it on your own, respect to elders and all that endless stuff that you need to remember. Tiring at times but it's worth it if you see him do it and do it without being reminded.

I Love My Mama c:

You Are Totally Like Your Mom

You and your mom are practically clones.

You think alike, and you even seem to read each other's minds.

You're definitely you're mother's child... and that's just fine with you.

Are You Like Your Mom?

I took this quiz, its fun c: I just know my qualities are pretty much like my mom and I'm proud to say it c: I'm glad she taught me the stuff she knows. Thanx mama and I love you so much c:
