In Thanksgiving c:

It has been weeks or almost a month now since I have really posted something about our family on this blog of mine. So today is a perfect day for Thanksgiving c:

Last month I had mumps and stayed at home for 2 weeks :c Then my son Josh had it too but not that painful for him cause he is just a little boy and for that I'm thankful and glad c: After that he had asthma, it's maybe because his resistance has lowered because of the mumps. Then he started his 1st week of school and after that week he had asthma again this saturday and then with fever. We had to rush him to the hospital on wednesday after he had been checked by the doctor last monday. His pedia told us he has Pneumonia. I was soooo worried I hadn't eaten and forgot to take a bath that day. I know all moms would feel worried when their kids are sick. All I did was pray for presence of mind and guidance on what to do next in every way. After a day in the hospital my son got better c: Thank you Lord c:

This day I thank the Lord for His saving grace, provision and strength all the way. We left the hospital last friday thanking the Lord until now c: Now it is time to go to church for we have not gone for a month because of all this c: It's sunday let's go to church and thank our lord for His blessings everyday c:

A Week of Thanksgiving

I can't let this week end without giving thanks to our Lord and Provider for all his blessings to me and my family c: First of all healing for both Joshua and me from flu. I had colds for alsmost 2 weeks and Josh had flu for a week and later on had asthma. My son is so thin now but his apetite is coming back, thank you Lordc: For all this I am still grateful for His provision and healing for us both c:

Secondly I won my first ever on-line guessing game and won a pack of gummy bears from mommy Kikamz of Samantha's Own and Just about Anything. Thank you so much mommy Kikamz, Josh/we really enjoyed every bit of it c: We received the pack about a week ago sorry just had the time to post it c:

Another was  receiving a gift from my lola Eling (my grandma) , cash gift. Thank you so much lola. It was really sweet of you mwa! mwa! mwa!!! Hugs and kisses for you c: I really miss you :c

And lastly I had another chance of having to meet my Mindanao On-line Buddies yesterday c: We had so much fun at our Plurk Fiesta c: We held it at Orange Bistro (more of the story later)

Happy Thanksgiving Sunday c:

I learned handling puppets in my college days c: I have long since been a puppet fan, any kind that is. Shadow puppets, big mouthed puppets (the one they use in Sesame Street), finger puppets, paper bag puppets, string puppets, socks puppets, etc. All these I have learned still I love my own puppets of course the most c: Like the one you see right now in this picture c:

This talent I have used in teaching Sunday school, in my reports, in children's parties and in church. When I became a mom my puppets rested and I definitely miss them :c

Now my son is 3 and is fond of my puppets also I have started to bring him to Sunday school just this month. He is so happy and loves to share his ideas to his teachers and classmates about what he has learned on bible stories c:

Last Sunday I decided to give thanks for all the blessings the Lord has given our family by once more having a puppet show for the children c: My little boy here, Josh looking so excited and all for this that he kept shouting his answers every time c:

Our church celebrated Thanksgiving last Sunday. Kid's have their separate Junior service they call it. Later we all ate lunch as a church together to celebrate Thanksgiving.

Everyday is Thanksgiving Day c: (Friday)

O sing to the Lord a new song,
For He has done wonderful things,
His right hand and His Holy arm
have gained the victory for Him.

The has made known His salvation;
He has revealed His righteousness
in the sight of the nations.

He has remembered His lovingkindness
and His faithfulness to the house of
Israel;
All the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth;
Break forth and sing for joy
and sing praise

Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,
With the lyre and the sound of melody.

With trumpets and the sound of the horn
Shout joyfully before the King , the Lord.

Yesterday my hubby was feeling down because we have been tight on our budget since last 15 of November. Bills were piled and we have nothing for 3 days. Still I kept Praising God because He has been reminding me to Praise and Thank Him even in times like these c: Yesterday I told Him that I will hold on to His promises and I already have thank Him for the blessings to come and I have declared it that this day I will still be a blessing to our family.

We ate lunch at dadees work place. It was very exhausting to prepare lunch that way but we enjoyed it specially Josh who thinks it's like eating out c: Josh and I went home and had a nap. I heard my CP before really waking up and decided not to read it first. Opened the computer and checked my email and dropped EC's at other blogs. When I decided to read my message it was a good news from dad telling me that his check of overload was there and he was telling me to getit with Josh. His school was walking distance from our place so we went there and made our groceries for Thanksgiving tomorrow for Church c:

Indeed the Lord provides for our needs
and is showing us His salvation in all things c:
I give thanks to Him and indeed everyday is Thanksgiving Day c:

Today my daily bible reading is exactly about things we are thankful for and one of those reminders are the answered prayers eversince my marriage c: and I have started a list of my blessings to be thankful for since then. Today here are the blessings I have or our family received and are thankful for this day.... And yes I am a positive ion because everyday is a miracle to me c:
